Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Relax and prepare for an exciting birding adventure. Overnight in Entebbe.
Day 2: Birding in Mabamba Swamp
Start with a boat ride through Mabamba Swamp, an internationally recognized Important Bird Area (IBA). Mabamba is well-known for the rare Shoebill Stork, often sighted along with Malachite Kingfishers and African Jacanas. Later, return to Entebbe for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park, known for its unique acacia woodland that attracts bird species such as the Bare-faced Go-away Bird and Red-faced Barbet. Enjoy an evening birding walk. Overnight stay in the park.
Day 4: Lake Mburo National Park – Full-Day Birding
A full day of birdwatching in Lake Mburo National Park allows for sightings of White-winged Warblers, African Finfoot, and more. In the evening, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Mburo to spot aquatic bird species. Overnight at the lodge.
Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Travel to Bwindi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its incredible biodiversity. Bwindi boasts many bird species, including Albertine Rift endemics like the Regal Sunbird and Grauer’s Broadbill. Overnight at a lodge near Bwindi.
Day 6: Birding in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Day 7: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 8: Birding in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 10: Murchison Falls National Park & Departure
Begin the day with a birding session along the Nile, spotting unique bird species against the background of the powerful Murchison Falls National Park. After lunch, you will return to Entebbe for your evening departure or an extended stay in Uganda.
